Ghostly pale, with a distinctive white heart-shaped face and an eerie screech, Barn Owls rule the night. The heart-shaped face isn’t just for looks; it actually gathers sound the same way our ears do. That face helps it hear small animals (i.e. food) scurrying down below. Top that off with special vision that lets them ‘see’ in complete darkness, a super-light body that gives them the power of silent flight and last but not least, extra-long legs that can pluck small mammals right out of long grass, and you have it. - 10.2 inches high by 8.6 inches wide (doesn’t include measurement of the branch/spike)
- Easily installed with the tap of a hammer (pre-drill hard wood)
- Mild steel with a mill scale patina. Protective clear coat.
